I'll be sincere: I like the smol models but I don't like the kanauru type of animation for it.
IT reminds me of the worst excesses of the latest MMD fads (which pretty much killed the scene): too much gratuitous camera movement.
That ended up being done by the animators to showboat how they knew how to use the latest updates on the MMD software and it ended up becoming similar to that Hale Barry Catwoman basketball scene with SEVENTEEN CUTS in the span of 60 seconds.
