People regularly upload video that is a video being played using screen capture.
Also it's because phone apps are designed for children and children get increasingly high-powered phones increasingly early, so it's just something they grow up with. A person that is 21 today probably had some type of smart phone since they entered the school system.
Zoomers have rapidly declining levels of tech literacy and are quickly starting to look closer to Gen X than Gen Y, which conversely is starting to look like the most tech-savvy generation to date and many years to come.
