As a GMMK compact owner, I find myself missing the ability to program my own layers with QMK so that I can only really make use of them for arrow and function keys (which is already an improvement over a full size or tenkeyless). Missing that and the desire for better shoulder ergonomics are accelerating my mental degredation into building a lily58, but someone fine with regular keyboard ergonomics might be able to get more out of buying a fully programmable 60%.
