Can you do it in a way that hides your power level? I have different levels of dorkiness the more comfortable I am around people and the better I know them, so if it's someone at work who's older and more casual, I'll just throw the old British stereotype of saying what day of the week it is and my boy do they just lead the conversation. When you run into other people with similar interests it's fun to sperg together though. I know what you mean though, even if I'm not familiar with the USA so much, I'm learning that your late twenties are basically liking the same things you probably liked at thirteen but without embarassment and now we make money and get to indulge a bit. Hey, I really feel for you, but as a fellow autist I want to say don't give up and fuck anyone who's ever mocked you, they are not the people who's energy you need around you. Embrace the things you care about and try to either avoid triggers from HS or find ways to help yourself process them, even now years later despite passing as a Stacymaxx, I remember being bullied for being the weird spergy kid and I know it's really hard but you will find your people, and maybe along the way you end up finding someone who you end up barebacking too.
