I think the biggest blessing of 2023 will be Lia's full commitment to the ballyhoo. I briefly touched on the qualities of Lia's laugh being one of her strongest qualities shortly after which she raided into Obake Pam a vtuber who while talented embraces perhaps the most stifled aspect of eastern vtuber culture in the artificially delivered and pitched laugh. Lia on the other hand not only cultivates a beautiful, western tradition of imperceptibly cued laughter but is turning it into a cornerstone of her performance. The subtle lending of menhera energy to the mirthful expression creates this manic energy that invigorates and uplifts literally imbuing the raw spirit of her being as a healing salve by which to heal one's self. It really is an unspoken expression of Lia's deep love for her Likers and an invitation to the uninitiated to let the Malware take over for a short while. In Lia's Laughter we see the deepest kind of meditation, the utter dissolution of self into the moment, the realization of satori in light of it all, and the joyous celebration of Truth and light that can never be destroyed. Lia's ability to not only inspire but invite into herself the actions others may not be able to take on their own is where her power really shines through. It is in this merging of traditional western based culture and ancient eastern meditative arts that we continue to see the full blossoming of her character.
