/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

I took a look at the Ren tweet and was amazed at how the vast majority of the angry replies are obvious containment breakers using specifically /vt/ lingo and freshly created accounts. It just blows my mind that they would put so much effort into trying to manufacture drama over... merely replying to a Hololive member? Like are they so starved for drama that they're just taking anything they can get?

There are situations that I can understand playing up because you can actually hook other people in and get them angry too, and win people to your side by claiming to have valid concerns. But this one just makes them look psychotic and I struggle to imagine any situation in which it would somehow end up in their favor. Maybe if he had immediately shown weakness and backed down then it would have shown them they can bully him into submission but he's clearly not that type of person.
