My dad can't eat gluten, which eliminates a lot of the same stuff, and I know from him that finding gluten-free anything that's close to the original is a challenge. I think egg substitutes work much better than that, but I'm not sure. And it's not just about how it could hypothetically be worked around, but what will actually happen. Like >>26584814 mentioned, if she's at a place that doesn't serve things without eggs, she can't do much about it in that moment.
