They are not saying
>every person is guaranteed a big number by virtue of being on Hololive
That would be a silly and easily disprovable by a cursory check on any of the smaller holos.

What they are saying is
>there are a lot of streamers that deserve big numbers but don’t get them because they are not on Hololive

It’s a “class envy” based argument: a dumb belief that
1) outcome should be based entirely on merit; and
2) that “merit” is whatever characteristics they and only they can assign to a person

It’s a dumb belief because
1) there is no relation between popularity and whatever metric of “merit” they can make up. Things are popular because lots of people want to watch it. No more, no less.
There are good things that are popular, good things that are niche, shitty things that are popular and shitty things that are niche.
