>Mortal Kombat in Hololive
Well, this is the perfect opportunity to post my schizo rambling on how each of the mortal kombat games represent each of the HoloJP generations and timelines:
>MK1 = Holo Gen 0 (mostly Sora)
What started it all. While not as remembered as the next entries, it is respected for being the first in the series.
>MK2 = Holo Gen 1, 2, Gamers
The game that introduced many fan favorites like Kitana, Mileena, Kung Lao and Shao Kahn, as well as other elements of the series like Outworld, pretty much what MK is now. The classic gens gave us Fubuki, Aqua, Korone, holos that would make Hololive stand out in popularity from other corpos.
>MK3 = Holo Gen 3
Regarded as the best game out of the classics. Gen 3 has some of the most popular talents in Hololive. Both game and generation goes for a unique theming that makes them stand out from the others, MK3 has a urban and punk aesthetic, while Gen 3 has it's holos based around fantasy tropes.
>MK4 = Holo Gen 4
The black sheep of the classic games, Gen 4 has a sheep holo. MK4 is known for it's ridiculous and memeable endings, Gen 4 had a meme dragon.
>MKDA = Holo Gen 5
The game started with the death of Liu Kang, Gen 5 started with Aloe's graduation, both events being very influential to them (For the main heroes in MK and for the remaining holos in Gen 5). The Deadly Alliance is HoloCN (Minus Chowa and Echo) alliance with the chinese antis attacking Coco.
>MKD = Holo Gen 6
The game's prologue starts with Raiden sacrificing himself in order to stop the Deadly Alliance and Onaga, then comes back to life with a different persona. Due to the Taiwan yab, HoloCN graduated. Coco also graduated, althought not due to the yab, but her own reasons. The game's main character, Shujinko, becomes the apprentice of many characters through his journey and learns different moves. Holox noticeably has girls that look up to their senpais a lot (La+ = Towa; Chloe = Shion; Koyori = all of Hololive)
Next in the line is MK Armaggedon, and that game's thing is that "Everyone is hire". It's main character Taven goes on a journey to defeat Blaze and obtain it's power so he can stop a massive war between two factions, made up of past MK characters. rrats?
