Less than 4 hours for MataraKan's debut! so here's a couple of tips for newcomers to twitch:

Terminology changes:
Free: Youtube subscription = Twitch follow
Paid: Youtube membership = Twitch subscription

Adblockers (use one of the options):
>TTV LOL Pro / Stream Cleaner
Stream Cleaner seems to work with Chrome, but use at your own risk ( https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions/issues/171 )
>uBlock Origin + script from here: https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions/raw/master/vaft/vaft-ublock-origin.js
uBlock and the extensions are not incompatible and you should use uBlock regardless. The choice is between the extensions and the script.
>Paid / Prime subscription to whomever you watch, or Twitch Turbo
Support your oshi by subbing to them. Prime is a free sub that comes with Amazon Prime. Twitch Turbo is kind of a global subscription that removes ads from all the streams and the streamer still gets paid for the ads you don't have to watch, but you don't get channel emotes.

Extra emotes and extra features on PC:
>7tv
>BetterTTV (bttv)
>Frankerfacez (ffz)
Use one. They not only add emotes that otherwise you wouldn't see without them, but they also improve your overall experience in the website by allowing you to tweak the website layout and many more things. Invest a bit of your time testing and trying each one, it's worth it.

>PurpleTV
>Chatsen
>Dankchat
>Frosty
Twitch's mobile app is garbage, so you might want to use them if you're mainly on android. PurpleTV also blocks ads.
