so stands are meant to be a manifestation and reflection of the soul or whatever, right? well according to part 5, requiem as a concept is not about simply [stand] but stronger, but its the logical next step from the concept of [stand], which ultimately is for humans to become like gods.
A stand is a refinement of the human soul and potential, a requiem is the human potential, refined to its peak: godhood. Therefore, there is no such thing as different "requiem powers", because requiem is omnipotence and the process of this is apotheosis.
This is where things start to get messy. Silver Chariot Requiem seems to have a unique set of powers but this is only because Polnareff was too weak to control it, as evidenced by the flashback to the village where he rested and first activated SCR. He accidentally pricked his finger on the arrow and manifested the same sleepytime powers that he would use at the coliseum, so the powers dont change because of circumstance or desire as the popular meme goes. Polnareff also verbatim says that what SCR is expressing is a fragment of the total power of requiem and that if anyone else got their hands on the arrow, they could use it fully.
Going back to the idea of the stand as an aspect of the self, or the soul, when stands attack SCR, they attack their users back. Why is this? The little sun thing. Why does SCR look like a shadow? Because SCR is a literal shadow of the human soul, a shadow created by the light shining behind you and is why SCR appears differently to each person and why stands reflect: Attacking SCR is your soul attacking itself.
