Data corruption caused it. Whatever, was due a reinstall anyway. Eventually I am going to replace the SSD with something better, it's not the first time it caused it.

Right now I want to be a pair of scissors. I don't feel like I can be a person. I have left this aside for years because I just couldn't come up with anything good and I don't want to end up copying someone else indirectly.

I don't know how long I will get to be a streamer for. I don't want to go all in on things and then I end up disappearing or worse. By being the scissors, it's effectively a low cost operation where the only money I have put into it are PC upgrades and games on sale.

Sorry I didn't see your post. In any case I don't really have the money to blow on anything right now. All the assets for Sukadrii have effectively been donated in /here/ by people with the exception of the overlay which I made myself using stock images and recolored.

AI art can be too controversial to focus on too. I don't want to upset artists or anyone else because I use AI. Even if I will never commission anyone for art, last thing I want is to be blacklisted over it.

I KNOW being a pair of scissors is not going to get me loads of views. I know it won't make me money and that's why I won't be monetising things. If I get a small following, and eventually I can make a small community of my own, and have something like a Discord server for games and hangouts and stuff as well as my streaming, I'd be content with that. I know I left this too late and if I started it years ago I could have been something decent. At the end of the day I just want to make decent friends online that I can rely on until my number is called and it's time to go.

This market is oversaturated and vtubing as a whole is incestuous with everyone notable knowing everyone else - if you upset one person you upset them all and they want nothing to do with you. I accept I will never make it big. I will never have the connections others do. I will never get into a corpo (and I never had the intention to anyway, I'd rather have my own setup if I had the money and assets to do so). I'm just doing this purely for fun. I have a lot of regrets in life. I don't want to make "not streaming for a while" be one of them.

I don't know what would have happened if I streamed years ago. But I want to do it now. I don't want to fizzle out so quickly, I want to try for at least a few months and go from there. But for now, I am going to be a pair of scissors. And you are welcome to watch me when I go live.
