Once again, this thread was optimistic because literally every male VTuber that became moderately popular during that time was a femcoomer panderer, and didn't have anything interesting to provide for the male audience.
Tempus started off on the right foot, which is why the thread liked them and had hope that Cover's famous scouting team wouldn't fail them, and that they wouldn't become the same shit as every other male VTuber.

The iLuna tribalism with nijifags attacking them for their shit models and their - expected - poor numbers was also a factor.
Remember that this was just 4 months after the infamous NijiEN Discord leak, so tribalism was at an all time high.
Some of the baits from those days would get VERY different replies today, and anons will probably get a HUGE whiplash when seeing just how different this thread was during that time period. You can look up some of these post numbers in the archive and read through the threads to get a very surreal feeling.

We genuinely gave them a chance, memed about them and hoped for their success, only to get shit served back in return.
