What, you don't think it's a good business decision to spend billions of dollars in a company that makes no profit already trying to develop a flying car that will never get approval in any metropolitan area of note? Are you stupid?
Real talk, though, that's why I still respect companies like Cover. Yeah, they're slow to develop and take advantage of opportunities, and they could be a hell of a lot better, but they also run a company better than most every other startup I've ever seen. It's a sustainable, low-overhead business which relies on providing their talent with a generous cut of profits for their industry and works to provide at least adequate support for them, otherwise they'd have nothing.
It's a good ideal to strive for.

Be wary of having your hand outstretched towards anyone you meet. Many people will be good and thankful, yes, but there's always a chance they'll pull on your outstretched arm and drag you down.
Take for example, the drowning man in the pool. You want to help the drowning man, who finds himself unable to swim, desperately thrashing and flailing for help. But you are no lifeguard. You don't have the skills needed to save the man, but you could go and get them. But in wanting to be kind, you attempt to save them yourself. What happens? The drowning man, desperate to live, grabs your arm, then your head, then shoves you down into the waters, desperate as he is, attempting to use you as a platform to escape the water from. It does not work, and now instead of the situation being one man's suffering, he threatens to drown you with him.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't be kind. But it means you should be careful when being kind, so that your efforts do not go wasted on those who won't accept them.
