I doubt it's audible for anyone here and honestly I understand, but the reality is much more complicated and would need you to accept how the same can look incredibly different from different angles and both angle not be completely wrong, so wall of text incoming

First Lumi herself is way too busy and trying to handle everything to even have the time to be some doxschizo Villainess, between her long ass streams, being an student, learning new songs, doing cover and originals, helping her juniors, it was revealed with the recent firing that she was even doing all the work of CL's manager (misaki I think? idk) on top of it, and now going indie... she really has 0 reason for this, if she had 20 viewers you could have an argument but here it would be wastting time she has no on completely useless stuff, more likely detrimental. There is no motive.

But in that kind of position the most valuable thing you can have is people close to you that you trust, extremely hard to find, often mostly people from you met before being more well known
Sei he's always been (at least in appearance) the opposite of what wvt know him for, he has been helping Lumi since before she was lumi and always in the clear.
I'm not sure you realise how hard it can be in those postiions to find people you can trust when everyone outside say contradictory things and have hidden interests
so of course she trusted him, everyone trusted him, after all he showed 0 indication of the stuff shown in DMs
so in her position, she saw that he has been a retard in DMs, likely bragging about stuff he may not even have "accomplished" as it's common in those cases, and having done some other part like the spam. Anyway not worth firing someone. Like an family member who have a moment of madness but he's still the person you know despite that.
