The holo "brand" as a whole being CGDCT is not in dispute anon, and I'd argue that holos themselves have plenty of "gachikoi" fans who are ironically or unironically in love with the chuuba.
Nijisanji brand isn't "mixed collabs" either, it's "you're free to do what you want, sink or swim is up to you".
That's why there can be chuubas like Lize, Chima, Toko, Sister Claire, Ange etc. who operate with CGDCT principle, and still have gachikois despite them being in Nijisanji.
They focus more on the CGDCT content, while also occasionally doing collabs with various folks. Their male collabs are few in number, and hence they can be considered as "CGDCT" chuubas.
Meanwhile there's also chuubas like Gundou, Utako, Sara, Chihiro etc. who focus on a different crowd with different humor and expectations.

This is the same with Hololive as well, with Pekora, Miko, Marine, Koyori etc. being "CGDCT" types, while there's also chuubas like Matsuri, Towa, Suisei etc. who mix things up while still retaining their CGDCT "vibe".

As long as the "general trend" of the company is that there's at least 70-80% more within-holo collabs than outside ones, their brand will be fine.

My whole point is that the VTuber industry - as a whole - has never welcomed the "no male interactions" type of unicornfags into the fandom, and do not have any unironic unicorns in the GENERAL fanbase. Specific chuubas who explicitly promise "no male interactions" like Kanata are a rare exception, and never the norm.
Anyone who has such expectations is either a schizo (if it's using their main account) or - more frequently - a shitposter, especially /here/ where it's easy to pretend to be various type of people for shits and giggles.

I think EN's biggest problem (which most people can agree with) is the lack of diverse one on one character interactions.
In JP we have -
1. Okakoro : Diabetes overload but with some teasing to spice things up.
2. MiComet : "business" relationship that's more like Manzai. Add in the rest of Shiraken and it basically becomes a circus.
3. SubaChocoLunaTan : 3 idiots and a savant laughing at their gaming antics, 3 people bullying Subaru at the same time.
4. Suba-Oka : 80% Subaru bullying, 20% Okayu bullying.
5. Marine-Subaru : Hilarious combination of Subaru trying to keep the horny away and Marine occasionally menheraing the fuck out in the middle of the stream.
6. Noe-Suba : Fangirl meets oshi, proceeds to sperg out.
7. Aqu-Sui/Startend : Inkya adopted by Youkya with a jealous 3rd wheel friend occasionally making cameos.
8. Mikkorone : 2 BFFs trying to entertain the audience.
9. Pekkorone : Rare combination of Korone's pressuring and someone who can dish it back, with Pekora's standard antics, making it a hilarious combination.
10. Peko-Koyo : Master-Slave relationship.

That's just the ones I remember off the top of my head. Almost every JP interaction is just subtly different enough to make all of them fresh. They are all such wildly different people and characters such that no two people can ever produce a dynamic that's completely IDENTICAL to any other two.

EN does have such combinations (Gurame, SNOT, Baerys etc.) but they are either super rare (SNOT), dead (Gurame) or get boring without any spice in the middle of their interactions (Baerys).
And well, most of the EN girls don't really know each other that well, so most "collabs" (if they even have any) come off as having the exact same dynamics as any other two girls (polite, distant, and not actively hilarious).
