By bridging livestream culture and anime, two of the most detrimental and persistent escapist outlets available to young men today, vtube has positioned itself as more dangerous than both. It’s not a coincidence that so many young men who associate with this subculture have struggled with the parasocial relationship trap, it’s the entire point of the project. By contributing your hard earned money to vtube/vtubers you are actively funding the rapid degradation of modern men as a whole. You gain nothing from participating in this subculture or watching vtubers stream, it’s all to your detriment.
