divvies are nearly ignoreable in early game. when your own coin volume is low, you better focus on day trading preferrably at adjustment, buy the dips, sell the moons. an extra 2-3k can already net you a surprise discount to a good divvie coin which then moons from thursday.
at some point, you have so much shit lying around that selling all is either coming with a loss or a profit lower than divvies payout, depending on what you played I'd estimate that point to be around 100-200 coins. that's when you put a pocket of your money away into a divvies coin you just hold and buy more of when it dips during the week. It was Gura/Holo for the longest time, right now you have some alternatives. High Level play seems to involve intentionally going for expensive coins so you can shovel through your money just that tiny bit faster.
