Ever taken a look at the catalog or /#/ and seen those Holoboard circlejerk posts and obvious not-even-baits-just-sarcastic-posts that get taken dead serious, screencapped, and reposted to justify hatred of Nijis and their fans? An equal proportion of JP Nijifags were very much like that back in 2019-2020. That said, contrary to what the other anon said, I seem to recall that 5ch actually had a laugh over us accusing Nijifags being the cause instead of plain old Japanese corporate lawyers striking when startups get big enough to be worth their while and only Nijisanji realizing they need to make a deal before they get hit. But the whole permissions saga was an arc, and maybe my memories get muddled. It may have been only about that one Suisei stream getting privated, and people certainly have mass reported streams after that.

She explained in a now also privated stream that her mum's a Catholic which is why she won't stream on Christmas, because her family actually celebrates it like it's supposed to. Although since her dad is a (practicing?) Buddhist they decorate their Christmas tree with Buddhist stuff etc. For what it's worth, the way she talked about it made it sound like that's not an environment that inspires any sincere religious feelings in the children.

Personally I find Chilla's Art games to be endearingly shit. I wouldn't bother playing them myself and it's not like I care to watch anyone other than Suisei play them, but still I rather like them in a so bad it's good kind of way.
