/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

I've been quietly watching this thread since it first started without a word to see how certain things played out
Nothing on this board has ever convinced me to stick to being a unicorn more than this place, but some of the shit very obvious male vtubers pulled here and still somehow got away with is so stupid that it got funny to watch
I noticed how dumb it was when dudes here started implying that viewers were less important than male vtubers in really subtle ways at first, thinking that anyone should be able to notice, but instead it kept getting worse until it got to the point of parody. That distorted ogey advice post from like 2 days ago was more or less claiming that the path to success is trusting male vtubers while not only warning people away from viewers in general, but using that as a springboard to then claim that the right way to succeed is to disregard non-NPC viewers who actually want to watch you for you.
The funniest part is that they will literally call everybody here a groomer....while grooming people into normalizing male collabs(with them, naturally) when a single look at the entire industry outside of most of /lig/ and /vsj/ proves over and over again that they are literally gaslighting any strays here into being leeched off of at best

I honestly just want to tell that one viewer anon who has been providing great advice this entire time that they did a great job and that I honestly mildly respect them for putting in so much thankless effort. I've been rooting for you since I could tell first thing that you were one of maybe four people that have posted here total that were only interested in being helpful instead of self-serving.Well, disregarding the fighting game addiction, but at least you were honest and not trying to gaslight people here into obvious debuff content(I'm so sorry anon...), so it's a trivial detail that is easy to forgive

anyway, my first and probably final piece of advice for any actual new female vtubers after being here since this thread started out is thus:
1) Basically every single one of you is WAY too easily persuaded by male vtubers to justify any potential interaction with them.

Not one time have I seen obvious bullshit called out; for most of you, a strict "no males" rule would be one of the best decisions you could make. I almost lost it when that one girl seemed to believe rebel way back at the start but right now the vast majority of you look almost as silly, and just don't realize it because you've been a frog getting slow-boiled.
I never knew EN male vtubers were as slimy as they are here until I bothered taking an interest in this mild drama, but as a parting tip, for the one who cries about groomers here in almost every thread, thank you for providing an example of actual projection on this board without using it in a buzzword sense.
What a fucking mess the "male" vtubers /here/ all are when a fucking kenzoku is more altruistic, calm, and objective than any of them, the absolute fucking state really

I don't make a habit of commenting on events I mostly just want to observe(though I am a prospective viewer but I enjoy behaving relatively normally as a chatter so) , but I'm sorry the situation here had gotten comically ridiculous enough times that I needed to fucking say ablot of something. God willing I'll never make another post here ever fucking again, likely because if this literal low key mixed gender collab grooming continues I'll simply realize that this place has no hope anymore anyway. Also please realize how to recognize a falseflagger everyone. Or just follow the much simpler rule I put as my only suggestion for you, I guess. For some of you it's less unicorn shit and more a realization that you are 100% going to get exploited without realizing it and as a human who manages to still have his soul the idea of that puts me off just a wee but ngl
