m50x's bass packs a punch compared to cheap headphones so watching certain movies can be really weird. worth the price, since it won't break down like a gamer headset would. using the front panel on my computer tends to bend cable though, but it's detachable so very quick to fix/replace.

This is actually the core of the problem. If you want to go hang with your friends, do it offline.
The problem is at its core that you are a content creator, you need to think if your audience will enjoy the content you put out.

This also applies to female collabs by the way. The reason everyone in the indie scene hates collabs, not only male collabs, is because vtubers do not think of their audience before making them, they dont build hype for it, and the audience doesnt care.

Interestingly, an example of a collab done right was the recent Pittie- Rinna collab. 1- Their audience, /here/ viewers, very likely watch or know both of them.
2- They did a little skit where they were robbing the audience, so they kept viewer interaction high. AND, 3- despite it being a controversial move, they did a prank to hype it up.

This was a good idea and I think it collected well the spirit of the advice gathered in this thread to hype it up.

Now, the worst thing you can possibly do to your audience is well known to be "Playing Valorant with my IRL friends who arent even streamers who hang out in voice chat"
Breaking it down:
1- Shit game, 0 viewer interactivity
2- US vs THEM collab mentality, the audience, mostly friendless people, is watching a bunch of people they dont know.
3- No one cares about your IRL friends in any way

The job of every writer is to make their readers happy. You are doing this for other people, else you wouldn't publish your stories. Same is for every youtube videomaker, and for every twitch streamer. You are both writing the script and the performers.
