- If you don't need an IQ a above 80, boxing is fine.
- Kickboxing or Muai Thai are good for sticking basics
- Full contact karate is fine too but good dojos are rare in the US and vetting is hard. Rule of thumb: if they let outsiders spar, they're solid.
- Judo is better grappling than bjj bcs it teaches standing game.

If you're 30 and older, stick to grappling, your injury risk doesn't warrant the updside of stricking training.
Early 20s and younger - get good at 1 stricking or grappling school, move on to learn what's missing after 5-6 years to be an all-rounder.
