I wanna put your quote up on a wall or make it a meme or something because it's so true, even for parasocial relationships with anime streamer men. While I love my oshi for how he ties his lore into everything, and how much I love his storytelling and planning with that story, I will say that another part of it is romantic escapism. He feels like a safe space where I can give and receive love, like he set out to do, and he's really helped me through some tough times and given me motivation.

And sometimes I wonder, if I watched the ""correct"" vtubers that /vt/ approves of, I would still not get vtubing at all. I think all the hate thrown at the livers is not just horrid on a personal level, but actively poisoning vtubing as a whole. I go on and on about this, so I wont delve into it, but actively pushing popular vtubing to only be one thing through harassment campaigns will only kill it overtime.

tl;dr I love my hubby, have been for 2+ years, and I'm not stopping just because some incel hates what he does
