Vesper's thing was "internal" and they kept it that way without revealing any details, but still punished him by publicizing that he did something wrong and was being punished for it.
Vesper also admitted that he had anger issues and lashed out at someone he shouldn't have, which calmed most of the audience.

Zaion was thrown to the wolves right from her suspension announcement, her reputation tarred and made so unrecoverable that she obviously could not return to streaming without getting a bunch of in-company-antis attached to her.
Her only options were -
> return to streaming as a niji liver, while your coworkers hate you, their fans also hate you and try to shit on you at every opportunity (as shown in the qrts to this announcement + the suspension announcement), while no longer being able to do any of the content she wanted to do, while also being blacklisted from any niji collab partners.

> return to her PL, hope that some of your niji fanbase transfers over, cut all ties to niji and ban nijifag antis from her chat, comfortably stream and make friends with other indies.

See that's the thing, "Insensitive jokes that can't be tolerated as a Nijisanji liver" casts such a wide-ass net because NijiEN have no filter and zero boundaries when it comes to "jokes" that they make on stream.
They will even joke about other people's family members dying without a blink from either the audience or the company itself, and this was the norm for a long-ass time, UNTIL Zaion entered the picture.
None of the jokes she made were any more or less "insensitive" than a lot of "jokes" that other livers (especially Enna) have made on stream.

If the only issue was just "lying to management" then people could understand, her jokes were fine but she was not cooperating with management for whatever reason (while other livers were doing fine), but NijiEN management felt the need to add that extra line to the list of "reasons" which makes it BLATANTLY clear that it was a targeted attack on Zaion, and calls into question all the OTHER reasons that they paraded.
If they can lie about one thing, the credibility of their entire reason for suspending her just goes up in fucking smoke.
