I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't exactly watch vtubers for the people, but for the stories. I'll probably keep up with Roca and Fuyo outside Idol but lose interest in a couple of months.
Then I'll go back to stalking indies that I think have a chance to make it. Keep a close eye on v4mirai, since they seem to be reaching for the stars.
