They're like Lehman Brothers in 2008. Have their fingers in a lot of pies. Collateralized their own debts to loan them out. Did it in USD because they didn't trust the government. Don't have any USD to cover the interest on their debts. Have been spiraling downwards for 8 months and now because they can't pay off the interest, all the other guys they owe money to are getting wiped out one by one too, leading to systemic failure in the Chinese derivative and real estate markets, which is leading to every other market and fund invested in China getting flacked as well- the USA, of course, is heavily invested in China.

And because their market is closed for the Mid-Autumn/Moon Festival, we won't know until wednesday how bad things will get.

>A bit more than a year ago I was pretty much on the ground. I was watching Pekora every day and thanks to that, I was at least able to make it through the day. Hololive English auditions suddenly appeared and I realized it might be worth a try. Driven by the thought of being able to use my skills and my talents for this, and maybe getting another chance for success, I instantly filled out my audition.
