I don't know how many of you are LARPing or being serious but if a hobby fills you with anxiety and you can't enjoy it anymore there is no reason not to take a break. You don't need to know every "rrat" or potential controversy that could flame up. Personally I got a bit overwhelmed with all of the controversy surrounding Hololive recently and how it effects this board at large and have begun watching more Nijisanji as a result and I'm much happier. Of course they have their fair share of 炎上s themselves but it's far easier to distance yourself from them as an English speaker. That's not to say I'm attempting to shill Nijis here though, mainly I'm just suggesting if there's anything that still appeals to you about vtubing, focus on that and block out the rest. You don't want to become like an embittered /v/tard who spends more time complaining about his hobby than actually engaging with it as a fan.

I think everyone using the recent Korean debuts as a guideline for how many viewers they'll have is misguided. That was what, the third, fourth generation of NijiKR? The "hype" died down for that branch a long time ago. On the other hand you have NijiEN, a shiny and new branch, with cool American English and not the nationalistic Jap's mortal enemy the Gooks. Even clips where Hana from the ID branch speaks English have a decent amount of views. I think this'll be their biggest foreign branch debut by far.
