On one hand, excited for Takamori stream.
On the other, it's blockgame so I hope it just lets them chat and not have Mori feel stressed she's doing something wrong.

I like the idea that Mori was assigned Kiara to reap as a "special assignment" and Death-Sensei did not mention anything about Phoenixes. Mori took the target and then quickly realized the soul was different. Then she watched Kiara flare up and be reborn. Confused but then remembering what she read about such creatures, which made her feel disgusted; something defying death.
Kiara was quickly attracted to Mori, and Mori wanted nothing to do with it. Yet she figured her Sensei gave her this task for a reason.

Through their other meetings, Mori slowly started to warm up and talk to Kiara in the short times they had between death/rebirth, and Mori started to learn more about humans from Kiara. The Phoenix being able to share experiences about living, whereas a Reaper only meets humans at their end.
Then one time Mori came to reap Kiara and saw the Phoenix was being tortured by humans who had ambushed her, for the first time Mori snapped and intervened. Showing true rage and killing outside of her assignments, and showing concern for Kiara even when logic should have told her any damage will be undone. In the Underworld, Mori expected her Sensei to severely punish her and instead Kiara spoke up and defended her.

It was then that Mori felt friendship for the first time. Their meetings after that started to become more playful. Now here they both are, getting to live and be able to share experiences together.

Whatever anyone wants to believe about any romantic feelings Kiara has towards Mori really isn't important. They might exist or they may not. What is important is that their friendship helped the both of them at the start of their streaming and continues to be something they cherish. It also helped play into their characters during some otherwise tense moments, which lightened the mood.

I'm a Deadbeat so the reaper and phoenix dynamic is good. As much as the world changes, these two are always constants. All of the EN girls have backstories and designs which can be put to creative use.
