Gura had that AMAZING gameplay in September, the Holo girls played it a couple more times in October (I think) then the chink publisher (against the wishes of the developers) pulled the permissions, more or less right around the time (same month) that meme tiktok song with their girls

The virality of Gura playing plus the meme song had a game that was almost one year old to blow up in "mindshare" but I can't stop but to think that that move SANK them in the west, first with the review bombing and them by not getting the positive feedback of exposure they would get by have the biggest vtuber and streamer phenomenon of the late 2020 to play it on stream.

It was their loss, for Holos, they just held tight with block game until they got permissions in writing from any willing partner (while keeping chinks at arms length from that point on)
