I hope the carry over customizable movesets from rise at the very least, having a couple of different playstyles per weapon helped me pick up weapons I don't normally use and figure out what's fun about them. Cooldown-based special attacks were really cool, and tying the cooldown to your mobility tool was a good idea, but some weapons devolved into just spamming the wirebug moves which was kind of lame. Not exactly expecting to see them return but you never know.
