Breadbaker confession time : I too was a complete newfag when it came to VTubers and the only way until Council came and until Mumei became my main for this gen in particular was through /hfz/. I too became pretty demoralized once the rrats came out from their holes but the one thing that made me realized that all of it is trivial was that EVERYBODY from Council now has some sort of rrats with them, like yesterday with that nothingburger-drama between Kronii and Baelz.
It's just like I said in a previous thread, /vt/ is basically /cgl/ 2.0 from my point of view.

I basically stopped giving a rrat ass to this sort of thing just realizing that, it's just alll entertainment, ignoring those guys (rrat threads and baitposting) into their cyberjihad against Vtubers is possibly the best course of action and outside of the genereal threads if must be. For me, the moment your oshi starts streaming, all of this is forgotten and that's always the aftermath where you debrief the stream with the fellow Owlbros, Kronies or whatever group you belong and want to discuss with if you got yourself some overlap over the fanbase and got different chuubas in the same gen like yours truly with the Saplings and the Kronies.

Don't get this type of things take over your mind, that's the best way to feel demoralized and to lost any type of motivation. If you feel down, taking a nap or doing something else while our Owl is doing something else herself or until an announcement is a fair course of action, you don't need to be on the site for long. /who/ is a good enough place, we practically learn in here not to reply to this kind of shit and we proceed like we should : speculate, discussing content before, now and after - a bit of shitposting like the horny ones above are welcome too since it doesn't really hurt the discussions and it can create some content, thus discussions.

She is literally my first experence of a vtuber that turns into an oshi. Which is kinda saying, I guess? Plus love at first sight thing since the model was revealed is still strong. It's a pretty strong addition of the model and then what we got on stream.
