I remember this new update was incredibly hyped up by the company but we didn't hear anything about it after.

Almost none of them actually use their updated models so far because they prefer the non-default outfits. Like how Subaru just kept streaming with her 1.0 model for like a year after she got her 2.0 because she doesn't like the base costume.

I think Mel's the only one actively using her 3.0 regularly.
