You need to change the way you see uploads on the internet. Uploads are no longer a permanent rooted place to revisit shit on the internet, uploads are either
-a disposable stream that you're fine with seeing once and never seeing again
or
-an opportunity to archive something before it disappears, with an unpredictable limited time window for you to grab it

HDDs are cheap now, get a big fucking 16-20 TB HDD and learn how to use yt-dlp. It's a command-line tool, but it can be used in the most basic retard way imaginable and is very easy to learn how to use.

If you're feeling extra schizo, learn how to get m3u8 links out of vod recovery and download them with yt-dlp, but don't rely on vod recovery because m3u8 links disappear from manually deleted streams.
If you're feeling gigaschizo, learn how to record streams using streamlink. If you ever find yourself unfortunate enough to be a fan of a Twitch streamer, use a fork of streamlink that lets you use proxies from countries where twitch ads are illegal, unless you really want to use the twitch api or you enjoy recording ads instead of recording streams.
If you want a faster way to use and access these command-line tools and better organize your shit (like appending dates to the beginning of filenames), learn python or get chatgpt to whip together some basic scripts for you and teach you how to use PATHS, just don't go overboard relying on chatgpt because it will fuck up over and over and over again.

I had to start doing this the day I realized I could no longer rely on lazy faggots and moralfags on other sites like discord to keep important Henya stuff archived. I will never see the first 40 minutes of Henya's August 3rd stream. All I got was the short fragmented clip that got the vod nuked in the first place, this is because I relied on other people to preserve content, I'm never making that mistake again.
