It's much less positive than that, which is kinda my problem because it's almost certainly not something you'd bring up. Like if you had heard through the grapevine that that girl had gotten addicted to crack after her dad had died you'd probably offer your condolences but keep that other part to yourself. But maybe having it from her perspective would be better so she can think about it without directly asking? But I don't know if I like that too much, cause she'd be talking to the protagonist and having her introduction be from her perspective would also be a bit odd too.
