DnD 3.5e in Eberron. It's my most familiar territory, and it has a good blend of trad fantasy and Cannith magi-tech, so the setting could be extremely varied depending on what races they pick.

Whoever would be the most invested in the project. I'm gonna whack sperg nest here, but I'd like to have Kiara along. She makes a good straight man. Too many directionless idiots forces the DM to get railroady, which can harm the overall experience. Kiara's German blood compels her to focus on the task at hand and get shit done. Of the Huntermyth group, she has performed the best overall.

Basically you have five people quite literally spread out across the planet in the worst possible manner. Had Kiara not been deported back to her home, setting up time would have been a bit easier, but as it is now, someone has to be given priority. Giving three priority over one of the others is the optimal choice, although it makes me feel bad that Calli has to be awake at 7:00am to GM, as her role is the most important.

As to the day: Calli made a hard rule to set the day for each session on a Tuesday, and not to budge it so everyone could work their schedules around it. So far the only two sessions that have been on a Wednesday instead of Tuesday are Tiara's Tutorial and the first full group session. In hindsight this would be more popular and way more watched than it already is if they opted for a Saturday, but most of them take one or both weekends off.

I was absolutely certain there would be combat here. Them in a favorable flank position vs. Sniff and the two vine hounds. Seemed a fair matchup. I can bet you Calli was intending for combat, but had to ditch it in the end. From what I glanced in the /tg/ thread, those vine hounds are actually pretty tough, so mayhap it would've been a bit too much for them. Which seems to be the general theme of HtV, a bunch of regular Joe Shmoes against overwhelming odds.

Hasn't inspired me to join a WoD group (yet), but strangely it gave me the drive to finish my holo fanfic for the writefags in their general.
