If we've got a little nostalgiafagging going on still, remember when the original contingent of, like, two Omaru-za and one Nekko ended up hitting a domino in /hlgg/ that changed the entire focus of both threads over the course of half a year or so by fleeing /hlg/ and trying to discuss their oshis with us after the Amon9us collab, because apparently /hlg/ was still somewhat hostile to Gokisei discussion at the time?
Those first three or four people managed to catch a fuckton of /hlgg/ anons in their oshi's web, which forced people to come up with the concept of "Honorary EN," which ended up snowballing with things like Holotalk, an Eigo stream arc and the Civil War changing people's priorities from "keep the barriers up between two big threads" to "keep the barriers up to keep the /qa/fags out and keep Holos in?"
I'm glad those bastards managed to pull something great off and essentially make this place into the main Hololive thread again.

I actually have a story about Polka, just last night, too.
I went to my friend's birthday get-together, us and a few of our buddies hung out and shot the shit, he made us watch Samurai Flamenco, the good stuff you do with buddies. I ended up showing them the video of Polka talking about beds because it was funny, and they liked it too, and one of them asked me to tell them about her. I started to, but I realized as I talked that I had to clam up before I started looking insane, because I was almost at the point where I was talking about her like a schoolboy with a crush even while holding back.
That fennec... she's got a stronger hold on me than I had realized. I worry about becoming a brainwashed devotee, but at the same time, I don't find that too scary.
