I think that's probably the roughest part about it. You have no idea if they even looked at the application and in a lot of people's cases they don't even watch the video. You just have to throw darts at a board and hope you somehow interest them. At least if you go a month without any response then it just means you gotta wait another two months to try again.

I started wondering the same thing a few weeks ago but haven't taken the time to do any research yet into individual VTuber stats. I'm also planning to get a survey out before the end of the year for English speaking fans, but I need to consider how I'll get a high response rate. Would probably try and get a good spread out to 4chan and other sites like Twitter or Reddit because I want to avoid bias. Not sure how to promote a survey without being ignored in those areas though.
