Friend, I’m aware Luxuria is Latin. I’m the one who named it and cited it as a Latin word then— I also picked it because it’s a little similar to Luxiem. “Vox” is Latin, “Akuma” is Japanese. Vox was most active/powerful during the Sengoku era. I’m incorporating Japanese names and architecture (ie tatami floors) into Luxuria to represent the cultists’ obsession with upholding the image of Vox’s heyday, as something Comfy and I have talked about multiple times is the different groups of Kindreds’ assertion that they are the “true” followers of Vox and that any other form of worship is blasphemy. They’re all stuck-up puritans in different ways.
