>and you suddenly realize that due to the wild scraper fluctuations Mori is hit with overbought non-stop, even when she adjusts up, and this keeps her price down.
Lemme just get this one out of the way first with picrel. It's enough on its own. There are no other channels that post negative numbers this fucking massive and as frequently!

Even Holo...has what, two big red days a week? Its pattern is more organic - Hologra views don't drop like a rock. "Everyone" watches Hologra on Sunday, but Holo gets residual VOD views from older eps, has other streams, people don't necessarily "all" watch it on Sunday, etc. It doesn't go from +2m to -1m like Ms. Reaper. Holofes exception...pls don't be a nigger, I'm retarded, but I'm not an idiot. If I'm talking nonsense about Holo's numbers as an example here, please correct me. And I mean this independent of the market - or adjustments. Holofes is a perfect example of why the upwards adjustment cap might have actually been the "lid" on a broken "reaction mixture".

>Adjustment acts upon the prior -adjustment- price.
Should've been clearer here - and this ensuing heated discussion is completely on me. Dogeza. "Adjustment ONLY acting upon the prior adjustment price" was not a point I was ever trying to make. Poor choice of words on my part - omitting "also" Adjustment ALSO acts upon the prior -adjustment- price or not saying "considers" instead of acts, you name it. You are correct in arguing with me for saying that.

Previous adjustment price vs. "intended adjustment" is THE factor for how OVERBOUGHT is triggered on a green day. We agreed on that much anyways - that was the context there. But we did get good discussion out of it.

>(since it's THE stat that lets market "influence" prices, if it was previous adjustment price then players would have no say in prices of coins, and the market inflates somehow).
and again, you misunderstood me, that's on me. I never meant to imply that it was ONLY previous adjustment price. But there is a reason Blondes-sama logs that number, and I don't think it's solely because he is a completionist ;)

Adjustment factoring in the previous adjustment and/or "the baseline" with some indeterminate weight is an effect that you develop a "gut feeling" for and was one of the things I meant when I was talking about "mahjong sands". I am sure other grugs agree. It's "stronger" when the market wants to force prices up, and is more forgiving on hiatus coins...or Civia/Coco. Where you're opening my eyes is implying that this too is "overbought" in scenarios where I would not assume it is - specifically: green stats, green day.

I got sidetracked arguing about Mori "only" going up $4000 being overbought in action, Holo, arguing about the adjustment algorithm itself which I initially thought was ultimately meaningless but am now realizing could be a big factor in all of this..

>This means that you can have a positive adjustment WITH OVERBOUGHT BRINGING IT DOWN FROM WHERE IT "SHOULD" BE.
...I get what you mean but I don't think it's happening. It looks like it's rubber banding - again, I get what you're saying - I am saying it's her negative numbers..
My point was that +$4k = overbought is or rather SHOULD BE impossible devs...are you...is this fucker right? You SHOULD only be seeing "overbought" if the resulting adjustment vs. pre-adjustment is downwards/red AND when the stats are green. I didn't think there was any ambiguity about this when the mechanic was originally introduced in the summer.

>at roughly the pace of inflation
Which is not consistent from coin to coin.

>Where did that 4k come from, if previous adjustment prices are used? Not from views. Or from subs. Last time I checked, 27k is higher than 23k.
My fault again, they're both factors & I did not mean to imply that it only acted on one or the other. Overbought kicking in on a red day ain't a thing because "crabbing" a red/hiatus coin has been a thing forever. "Crabbing red" didn't change when overbought was introduced. Haato, anyone? Those were hiatus/crab tier red numbers on the 14th - which if anything, I see as proving my very first point: OVERBOUGHT IS WEAK AF YO.

+760k views gave us +$8,789.14 vs. the previous adjustment value. Overbought was triggered on the 14th - to the tune of a net -$2,193.07 adjustment. Going from +760k views to -67k views was enough for a net -$3,235.57 adjustment. 50% stronger than overbought...ergo - overbought ain't shit son. At least in the cases where we can both completely agree it was very much in effect.

I understand what you are trying to say, you don't need to further bash your head in trying to explain it to grug. I am not convinced you're right, but if you are, what the fuck...
