Well you see, this is the same thing that almost happened with the original "nigger".
Blacks adopted it into their lexicon, changed it into something like "friend" and the power behind it was all but gone by 2008.

So this is basically where we adopt the "unicorn" moniker and change the definition to fit our needs.
The actual "hardcore" unicorn fanbase doesn't really exist in significant enough numbers to protest about this shit anyways.
