They have a second problem tho: they don't have a "second string", there is this MASSIVE dropoff from their top streamers to the rest.

NIjisanji has ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY SIX individual youtube channels (excluding the corporate ones) with ten or more streams in 2023.
Out of those, only 8 have a 10k+ median

Then only twelve more have a 5k+ median.

That's it. Twenty one (21) channels over 5k, two of them dead.

Even if you cut the massive long tail Nijisanji has they are still underperforming in comparison with Hololive which, on JP alone, have twenty four (24) channels with a 10k+ median in the same period.
That's not to say 5k+ is not good in relation to the industry as a whole, it is just not at Hololive level
