I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this but I can't think of any other place that would know, but:
Do hours watched on stream contribute to a YouTuber's monthly income, or is it just video view time that matters for the paycheck? Ignoring memberships and superchats, of course.
I wonder why many vtubers on Youtube no longer go for edited, dense content and instead just stream and leave the VODs up and let clippers produce edited content. Assuming streaming doesn't pay per watch time, is it just not worth the effort to make a 15 minute video with high viewer engagement?
