Gura has said she was lonely before Hololive. I think that seriously contributed to her character. She didn't follow someone else's hobbies and personality. She pursued her own interest, and even developed her own humor. It sucks that it probably takes some hard times to ne that way, but Gura is setting an example for people everywhere.
