When I first heard english speaking holos, I hated it. It reminded me of dubbed anime. I couldn't bring myself to really watch any of the ENs until I eventually adjusted to it through gradual clip exposure and now its perfectly normal to hear. Similar to when I first saw and heard Okayu and thought there was a total mismatch, now I'd be weirded out if I heard a bubblegum voice like I expected back then. I can't even get back into the mindset of what made me dislike it so much, it's really strange to think back on. Still hate dubs though.

Okay I'm gonna come out and say it: I think it's time for a NePoLaBo thread. Or at very least a ShishiLamy thread since we seem to be worse at keeping our threads alive. EN2 has probably fucked this board permanently, or at least for a long time and unless the retards get bored and move on or the next wave of jannies cracks down hard on them, there's unfortunately not much hope for having a single general for every JP Holo except for the most popular ones here, which Botan clearly isn't (probably for the best judging from the average poster on this shithole of a board)
