If you feed yourself with just takeout its probably 8x as expensive as making your own food. I have bad months where I impulse order food to my door and it easily gets to $600+ with very little actual calories in.
Yeah, my sister has this problem, not wanting to cook (or even eat all that much) homemade cooking and constantly ordering takeouts, which leaves her broke like a third of a month. Surprisingly, she also likes making desserts, and they're good, too.
On the other hand, my introverted bitch ass can barely handle the simplest cooking (I still screw up sunny side up eggs), but I'm so stingy with money, it physically hurts me to order that stuff through Uber. I'd rather go on an hour long walk to the shop than to pay that fee, which at least let's me save up a bit (since it also means I don't eat that stuff too often).
