StelLive was created from the remains of Yume Percent, basically as a way for the owner Gangzi, to try and recoup the losses. In the end this worked out very well for the two Yume Percent members who stayed (that being Kanna and Yuni) and they exploded. Probably because of the lack of supply of corpo vtubers in the KR scene. Also since there wasn't much happening with HoloEN a lot of the clippers decided to clip StelLive instead and boosted them even further.

Looks like Gangzi is gearing up for all out war against Isegye this summer.

It's complicated. They attracted a specific audience in Korea, but to boil it down they basically piggybacked off the audience of their corpo's owner, Gangzi. That being said, both Yuni and Kanna get way higher views than their CEO so they've already proven themselves.

Technically, Gangzi isn't a vtuber. She comes from a group of streamers called the "dullahans" that have been around the KR streaming space for a while. Basically, they were no-cam streamers with their own anime avatars, the big difference between them and vtubers is that they didn't use Live2D or 3D (they used still images) and didn't play a character. But, they are pretty much like vtubers in most ways.
