It's really old news by now, but Waktaverse had a controversy, (the group Isegye Idol is part).
I found out why the group's up and coming star, Haku0089's been gone for 2 months.

And it's probably obvious to all of you, it's because it was a Hatsune Miku ripoff.

She was basically a vocaloid at the start with some MMD even, became a streamer with a robotic voice changer a year after debut.
(btw I thought it was the old man doing duo characters at first, but it turned out to be a small girl behind it)

For backstory, the Waktaverse people all come from KR VRChat roots, so a lot of their models were just vrchat default shit, that's why Gosegu is Filian and Isegye couldn't even launch merch, but some of the other Waktaverse characters were just big copyrights, with slight variations, like Freeta, Nicholas Cage, Brazilian Zenitsu and here, originally called Mitsune Haku.
The group's had a lot of modifications to their models in time, even name changes and overhauls, like for Jingburger, to get original characters. This one was too deep though and, with the attention the 23rd of September irl concert brought, a looooot of Vocaloid fans saw the model and complained on Twitter, calling for Yahama to throw infringement lawsuits at them.
Haku apologized, deleted all her videos and now is inactive while they're working on a complete new model for her.
