i think for me it's just that vtubing is escapism. that's the whole point. it's nice to get away from real life for a second, but with stuff like this we're now back to feeling like we're missing out if we're not traveling and showing her the world or showing off ourselves jerking off or whatever which you can only do if you look good enough etc. the escapism is gone at that point and it's now just normal real life social media bullshit again. i know it's easy to say "well just ignore her maros then" but as a fan you do want to see everything she's posting about so that's not an option either. it's either grit your teeth and suffer through it or get filtered.
