I think he does know when to tone it down, like he doesn't bully Scarle whose shy in collabs. In one of his collabs with Enna he said something about only roasting livers he's gotten acquainted with and knows they can take it. He allows himself to be the butt of the joke sometimes like with his tsundere bit that he seems to play into and doesn't try to bite back when he doesn't have a comeback.
The problem is moreso most the people he chooses to collab with have a pre-established rival dynamic with him(Enna, Pomu, Ren and Aster). He's different towards Maria playing the bunny kusoge and it's nice to see him just be chill and cooperate with someone, but we rarely get to see it.

Again though he chose Ren of all people as RenKyo started gaining traction and he DID like plenty of the fanart.
Also if you even watch those streams he does play up the "we're a married couple getting a divorce" RP and joking that Ren's cheating on Aster with 3 other dudes INCLUDING him.

If Kyo was really "disgusted with gay shit" like you fake kyomies claim he would've discussed with Ren in private to cut it with the flirting. He's just made it part of his liver persona that he deflects all the flirting. Then once a month he plays up the tsundere bit or reciprocates to make the fujos explode, that's it.
Saying Kyo NEVER fujobaits is like delusional lucubs who think Luca isn't BFE. It's subtle so there's enough plausible deniability that insecure straight men like you can pretend it's not there.
Like no shit Kyo isn't on Vox or Luca's level of pandering, and he doesn't rely on pandering to maintain an audience I'm saying you're in heavy denial if you think he doesn't do it at all.
