Sort of but not really. Female vtubers have it incredibly easy, the only thing you can do to offend your fans is collab with males. Except NijiEN already sidestepped this since it's a mixed branch so their fans won't even get mad over that. Male fans have incredibly low self-esteem, they'll watch and support any vtuber as long as she's nice to them and tells them she appreciates them. They won't chimp out over your political opinions, they won't cancel you for not doing a bilibilli stream, they won't get triggered over your low effort stream schedule. Male fans are as loyal as dogs.

The difference is Pomu doesn't exclusively talk about her interests. She picks out comments in chat to reply to and asks followup questions even if it's about stuff she has no idea about so she can learn new things. She gives off an air of being genuinely interested in learning about other people, which is rare.

Of course given what she's said about her experiences with idols we know this is just her way of bringing a smile to her viewers' faces and she's not actually very interested, but the fact she's so considerate of others to encourage them to talk about their passions already makes her worth all the love in the world. I just really admire her a lot for how she approaches streaming.

Even the mods are bored of banning the gorespammer now.
